Our Remodeling Process

Time is of the essence when it comes to any construction project. J & J Quality Construction understands this, which is why we employ a streamlined home remodeling process to ensure timely completion of any home improvement project.

Free In-Home Consultation

It all starts here!

We visit your home to introduce ourselves and take a look at the area in your home you want to remodel. We will discuss your goals and budget. It is important that we understand the desired outcome you wish to achieve. We will explain our process, review layout changes, take measurements and answer any questions you may have. After the initial meeting, we will send you a detailed written estimate.

You approve the estimate and the contract is signed. Our contract will include the project timeline, payment schedule and a detailed scope of work. You select the fixtures and finishes you would like to use for your project and we purchase the materials you select. It's that easy. During pre-construction, we will meet with you at your home to finalize layouts and project details. You will meet our cabinet designer and project manager.

Your Project Begins

Your cabinet designs are developed and the demo phase begins. It is out with old to make way for the newly remodeled space. First up is completing any framing, rough-in work behind the walls for fixtures and then drywall. Once the behind the wall work is completed, the finishes you selected are next on deck. As the cabinets, tile, flooring, and countertops are installed, you can see it all coming together. Finally the walls are painted and the fixtures are installed.

Project Completion

The finish line!

Towards the end of the project, we will conduct a walkthrough to create a punch list of little tasks that are left to be completed. Once these tasks are completed, the clean up is done. Upon confirmation of your satisfaction of the project, we will schedule photographs to be taken and your one-year warranty period begins. If any issues arise within the warranty period, we will remedy the issue at no charge.
